Scotland’s Golf Coast is located just 30 minutes from Edinburgh in the scenic county of East Lothian.

There are 21 Golf Courses to choose from, including Open Championship venue Muirfield, in one of Scotland’s most beautiful regions. The Golf Coast stretches for 30 miles, East of Edinburgh, through East Lothian’s stunning coastline of golden beaches and rolling countryside.

Haddington Golf Course

Haddington Golf Club is a long established parkland course incorporated within the boundaries of a former country estate.

A beautiful golf course, featuring historic buildings, water features and mature trees lining most of the fairways. For nature lovers, sightings of deer, pheasant, grouse and otters are regular occurrences.

Muirfield Golf Course

Muirfield is the home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers: one of the oldest clubs in golf, it began in Leith in 1744, before moving to Musselburgh and finally to Muirfield in 1891. It is a renowned venue to major championships, having hosted 16 Open Championships.

Archerfield Golf Course

With 2 links courses, Fidra and Dirleton, Archerfield offers both comfort and challenges.

Dirleton, with its sweeping fairways, deep, menacing bunkers and dunes bordering the fairways and Fidra, enjoyed by those who appreciate things done well.

Designed by world-renowned Links course architects Donald Steele & Co., Craigielaw truly offers a golfers’ paradise.

Craigielaw offers a championship golf course, with a specialist Golf academy on site, providing first class practice used by Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara.

Kilspindie Golf Course

Lying hidden among the nature reserve of Aberlady Bay, the quaint village of Aberlady, and the teaming waters of the Firth of Forth, Kilspindie Golf Club is one of the finest hidden gems any golfer can find.The 35th oldest golf club, with the current course designed and first played on 26 November 1898.

North Berwick Golf Course

Golf has been played over the historic West Links course since the 17th century, and we continue to play over the same piece of land as they did back then.

A true championship links course, having hosted Final Qualifying for The Open Championship and both Gentlemen and Ladies Amateur Championships. An excellent test of golf awaits you.

Longniddry Golf Course

Longniddry is the closest seaside course to Edinburgh. The course comprises an unusual combination of woodland and links, with spectacular sea views from many holes.

With no par 5’s and eight par 4’s measuring over 400 years, Longniddry offers a very good test of golf for both members and visitors alike.

Gullane Golf Course

Gullane offers 3 varied and challenging courses. Gullane No. 1 was voted 21st in the top 100 courses in Scotland.

Gullane No.2 was laid out by Willie Park Jnr in 1898 and is a stern test of any golfer.

Gullane No.3 is the shortest of the three courses, and is a wonderful test based on shot-making skills rather than power.

Dunbar Golf Course

A classic Scottish links course Dunbar presents a test for players of all levels.

An Open Qualifying course, Dunbar has hosted the PGA championship, Scottish PGA and Scottish Amateur. The Ladies Home Internationals and British Ladies Championships.

This is a beautiful 9-hole course set in gently undulating parkland on the outskirts of Gifford.

Gifford is renowned for its greens, which are a challenge for even the best of golfers. For those playing a full 18 holes, the different positions of some tees for the back nine provides new challenges.

Musselburgh Golf Course

Musselburgh is a top class championship course designed by James Braid in 1938.

Built round a bend of the river Esk, it has relatively flat tree-lined yet generous fairways. The length from the championship tees is a testing 6725 yards and with a par 71, SSS 72 it is a quality test of golf.
